I had never seen Alfred Eisenstaedt's 1963 photos of Parisian children watching a performance of St. George and the Dragon at the puppet theater in the Tuileries until someone posted them to ffffound last week (via google LIFE image search). Such incredibly beautiful images; I don't know how anyone could look at these and not be joyful that there are kids out there in the world and not pity them for having to inherit it.
