Just a handful of the hundreds of pheasants we've seen over the past few months; sometimes when we're bored we just drive around looking for them. The kids are ridiculously good at spotting one. A few weeks ago, we were coming home at dusk and there was one in the tree outside our front door. Scared the hell out of us when he thundered away.
